Cross-Cultural Depression

Depression appears in most cultures but varies in its form, name, and treatment. In this podcast, I interview a college student who immigrated to the United States from Indonesia and has been diagnosed with major depressive disorder. Joshua Jayasundara, a graduate student at Emory who teaches a course on the sociology of mental health, also weighs in and adds perspective from his own background.
